2. How much will I earn ?
Your revenue will depend on the advertisers' fees, which is not determined by CibleClick. The advertisers can choose between four different types of payment options: "Pay per click", "Pay per lead", "Pay per impressions" ("CPM"), "Pay per sales".Advertisers can also choose to combine the different types of payment options.

4. What is Cibleclick's fraud policy ?
Security is an area of constant focus for us as we believe that it is the key to a totally effective system. That's why we have put in place numerous different mechanisms to prevent frauds and abuses. Some are quite obvious on the site, others are more hidden, but all of them play their part in blocking any suspect behavior.
Some people will still try to find loopholes in the system but in 99% of these cases, we are able to identify those suspects within 48 hours.
In such cases, the fraudster will have his account closed immediately and all income will be returned to the advertisers who were victims of the fraud within a week. Cibleclick also reserves the right to take legal action against fraudsters through the courts.
Our four years of experience in the area of affiliation worldwide has enabled us to identify most of the methods used by fraudsters, even the most sophisticated. None of them appears to work very effectively:, otherwise we wouldn't be what we are today. We would advise all webmasters to devote their energies to improveing the content of their websites rather than trying out risky methods of making money illegally.

5. How does Cibleclick identify clicks, impressions, leads and sales ?
A visitor to an affiliate website clicks on a banner, a button or a text link provided by Cibleclick

  • Click :
The visitor is immediately redirected to the advertiser's site through a Cibleclick URL which makes it possible to count clicks and add the credits to the Affiliate's account in accordance with the advertiser's fee.
  • Double click :
The visitor clicks on the banner, then visits at least one page on the advertiser's site.

  • Sale :
This applies only to merchant sites. The visitor selects and pays for one or more items on the advertiser's website. When the purchase is completed, the advertiser usually displays a confirmation/thank-you page to the customer. The advertiser will have included a script which makes it possible to track sales, which is concealed on this page. The affiliate can see immediately that a sale has been generated through his website. However, the Advertiser has a period of up to 14 days to actually confirm the sale, in case the purchase was false or fraudulent.

  • Lead :
    - The visitor clicks on the Advertiser's banner, then registers or completes a form to subscribe to a service, which can be free or paid, such as a newsletter. Once the form has been fully completed and submitted, a small piece of script on the thank-you/confirmation page that the advertiser usually displays, ensures that the Affiliate is credited with the lead. The advertiser has a period of up to 14 days to actually confirm that the form is valid, in case of false or fraudulent registrations.

6. Who pays Affiliates? When is payment made ?
Cibleclick manages all payments for all Affiliates. When an Affiliate reaches the payment threshold of 100£, the 8th of the month after the following month, he will be able to click on the 'Cash-in' button in the 'Payments' section to receive his check or bank transfer 15 days later. If he has not reached the payment threshold, the income will be carried over to the following month, until the amount of 100£ is reached.

7. Can I be paid by bank transfer?
Yes, please select your payment method in the 'Payments' section in the Member's area and fill the form with your complete banking informations.

8. I've noticed some differences between the amount of my invoice and my statistics, why is that?
At the end of each month, Cibleclick makes a list of all the Affiliates who have reached the payment threshold using the balance recorded on their accounts at that date. This is the amount that is used as a basis for the invoice Affiliates receive a few days later.
Therefore, when the Affiliate compares the amount on the invoice and the figures in the statistics, he may notice a difference. This difference can be due to leads and sales that are awaiting confirmation. Note that, leads and sales are credited in the statistics based on the date the transaction was made and not on the date of confirmation.
All these transactions are then carried over to the following month.

9. Can I use my earnings as an Affiliate to open my own Affiliate program ?
In order to differentiate between earnings and outgoings, our accounts systems requires that you create a separate account for your own affiliation program.
In order to open a program, you must have a minimum of £1000 in your Advertiser account.

10. Under what circumstances can I be paid even if I have not reached the payment threshold?
Even under very exceptional circumstances, we never pay Affiliates until they have reached the payment threshold of 100£, whatever the reason may be. The reason for this is, on one hand, that we have no way of verifying the reasons given and on the other hand, any member of the network could put forward the same request and that would definitely constitute a threat to the entire system.

11. Can I advertise via e-mail ?
You may include Cibleclick links or banners in a newsletter and in any document you send to members who have registered with you in the normal way (opt-in). Cibleclick spam policy is very tight and any abuse will involve drastic measures being taken against any Affiliate who can be proven to have sent unsollicited e-mail.
Also, if you wish to send an e-mail dedicated to only one Advertiser, be sure to check in the description of the program if e-mail is allowed or not. If in doubt, please check with us.

12. Where do I register to join an Affiliation program?
  1. 1. First, select a program from our list of programs. You can access this once you are a registered Affiliate.
    2. Once you've chosen a program by clicking on the "Join!" button, please wait until the advertiser has approved your submission (some Advertisers may validate Affiliates automatically, others manually. It might take some time until your site is reviewed: please be patient or just skip to another program, as some Advertisers already have enough Affiliates for their programs.).
Links will be disabled and you will not start to earn income until the Advertiser has approved your submission.
    3. You will receive an e-mail as soon as your site has been visited and validated.
    4. Enter your login and password on Cibleclick and go to your "Program Management" page.
    5. Check the programs for which your request has been accepted and click on the "make a link to Advertiser" link.
    6. Then just copy and paste the HTML code provided into your website pages.

13.As an Affiliate, how can I maximize my earnings ?
Many business as well as individual websites generate substantial revenues with an Affiliate program. Every month, more and more Affiliates are rewarded for their efforts, so we now know for sure the best ways to manage your website in order to transform traffic into a regular income.
  1. Rule number 1: select your programs in accordance with your site's actual content and features.
We have more than 150 programs available from "Educational" resources to "Adult" contents (must be 18+), but also "Games and Lotteries", "Webmaster services", etc...
  2. Recommend Advertisers' websites to your visitors
Cibleclick allows you to use "text links", a URL that you can put into any text, article or written advice that you might want to give to your visitors.
  3. Register on several different programs
Managing several programs at the same time means multiplying your income by 2 or 3 times. Also, you will be able to see which one is the most effective in terms of click rate with our real-time statistics tools.
But be warned: don't put too many advertisements on your site or you may experience a dramatic drop in traffic as a result of lack of interest in your content!

14. What is a double click?
You get paid once the visitor who has clicked on one of your banners actually visits at least one page on the advertiser's website. Any click on the Advertiser's homepage is enough, except "mailto" links that are impossible to track.

15. How do I register many websites on a single account?
Just create an HTML page containing all the URLs of your 'websites' homepages with a short description of their content. Then, log on to the member section to update your "Informations about your Site" with the URL of the page you have just created. You can view an example of such a page at: http://www.francesurf.net/presentation/, but please remember that this page is copyright. We also recommend that you create separate accounts if you manage one or more websites containing adult-oriented material.

17. I can not access to my member account, what can I do?
Check the following:
  1. Is your anti-virus software working and up-to-date? Many access problems have been solved after a complete scan of the user's hard disk. If you do not currently have anti-virus software installed on your system, you can use an on-line scanner at MacAfee.com.
  2. Have you recently downloaded and installed the "Kazaa Lite" software? If yes, look for a file named 'hosts' (.dat or .sam) in your hard disk (C:\). Once you have located it, open it in Notepad and remove any URL containing 'cibleclick'.
  3. When connecting onto Cibleclick, a blank page appears. Paste this link into your browser: http://www.cibleclick.com/membre/index.cfm?usernam=login&password=password replacing "login" and "password" with your CibleClick password. If you manage to log in this way, we advise you to keep this URL in your favorites folder.
